Lions Club to support Bharatpur Eye hospital

Eye articleChitwan / Aug 21: Lions Club International 325 B 2 Nepal is set to launch a project worth Rs 20.5 million for procuring equipment needed for Bharatpur Eye Hospital of Chitwan.

The Club’s first national conference on Saturday endorsed a project to purchase necessary apparatus needed for diabetic retinopathy, former Governor, Prabhat Kumar Joshi said.

The project proposed by the Narayangadh Lions Club has been endorsed and will be presented before the Lions Club International within a month, Joshi added.

The conference reviewed the projects and programmes and discussed future programmes, Lions Club International 325 B 2 District Governor, Dhanshyam Bhattarai said.

A total of 1,500 representatives from Birgunj to Mahakali took part in the conference. RSS
