Tamang’s work to be exhibited in Lalitpur

art-exhibitionKathmandu / Dec 02: An art exhibition titled Evolving Metamorphosis that will have on display artist Surendra Tamang’s work is slated to start from December 3, at Café Aamu in Lalitpur.

The forthcoming exhibit is artist Tamang’s debut solo exhibition.

Tamang is a self-taught artist, who mostly dabbles in contemporary art techniques and photo-realism. Breaking with trends, Tamang’s works do not stick to conventional styles, techniques, theories or mediums.

In his artistic statement, Tamang mentions, “Evolving self belief and the people I met during this process of practice and research became my muse and inspiration, pushing me to do more and get better. This exhibition is the beginning of a new chapter in my journey towards discovering the immense beauty of life through art.” The exhibit will continue for a month. Source: The Kathmandu Post
