The art fair, which will feature a total of 67 national and international artists, will have on display more than 100 modern and contemporary artworks in next three days.

Speaking of the fest, Shushank Kalapremi Shrestha, said, “We are very excited to hold this fair for the tenth year in a row. More than just an exhibit of artworks, the fair also provides a great opportunity for emerging artists to showcase their work and also to build network. The idea of the fair is to bring together artists and art lovers in a platform where they can engage in rich diversity of modern and contemporary art.”

He further added, “We have a mix of artists, while some are very new—searching for a platform to showcase their creations—others are eminent, who have already established themselves in the Nepali art arena. To add to the diversity, we are also hosting Bangladeshi and American artists.”

The fair will feature 12 artists from Bangladesh and one from the USA. The fest will feature works by artists such as Madan Chitrakar, Gopal Das Shrestha, Indra Pradhan, Nargis Pravein, Deepak Thami and Niroj Bade, among others. The fair will have on display artworks created in an array of genre and media, ranging from sketch, ethnic prints, water colours, acrylic colours, and oil paintings to sculptures and installations.

The fair will be open to public every day at 10:30am through 5:30pm, until Sunday, December 11. Source: The Kathmandu Post
