Labour Minister Gurung calls for systematizing foreign employment

Labor, Foreign EmploymentKathmandu / Dec 19: Minister for Labour and Employment Suryaman Gurung spoke of the need of motivating youths to seek employment opportunity within the country.

In his address to an interaction titled, ‘The Role of Media Personnel in Safe, Systematic and Disciplined Foreign Employment’ organised by the Sanchar Pratisthan Nepal here today, the Minister said an increasing trend of Nepali youths going for abroad jobs has led to a shortage of human resources in the society.

“It is all- important to systematise the foreign employment and make it further disciplined,” he said, highlighting journalists’ pivotal role towards that end.

Foreign Employment Promotion Board executive director Raghuraj Kafle has said the address of problems and challenges in country’s foreign employment sector has failed to get space in the state national policy. The Board is ready to cooperate with media people in its effort to sysetmatise the foreign employment. RSS
