More than 200 detained for Holi hooliganism

police logoKathmandu / March 12: Police detained altogether 213 people for hooliganism from various places of the Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday as part of the drive to control hooliganism during the festival of colours, Holi.

Police persons, including mobile patrolling squads, deployed by the Metropolitan Police Range, Teku arrested them on the charge of posing unruly and unwanted activities while observing the festival, according to Superintendent of Police (SP), Pyadhumna Kumar Karki, at the Metropolitan Police Range.

SP Karki shared that investigation into the arrested ones were underway and stringent action would be taken against those found guilty. RSS
