Kathmandu, March 31: The AP1 Television, operated by the Annapurna Media Network, has launched its official operation from today.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal inaugurated the official operation of AP1 Television amid a special function.

On the occasion, PM Dahal said that media sector witnessed a boom in Nepal with the political changes and rising consciousness.

The PM suggested that the media should unite the Nepalis of different castes, creed and class living in Tarai, Hill, Himalayas and across the globe.
Prime Minister Dahal underlined the need to put coordinated efforts from all sides to take the country to economic development by ending protracted political transition.

Election is a key instrument to take ahead the country to economic development by maintaining political stability through the implementation of the constitution, PM Dahal added.

Network Chairperson Rameswor Thapa said the TV channel was established keeping in mind the need of the hour and would play role for economic development of the country. RSS
