NOC hikes price of petroleum products for second time in 11 days

Nepal Oil CorporationKathmandu / Dec 19: The Nepal Oil Corporation has once again hiked the price of petroleum products for the second time in 11 days.

NOC has hiked one rupee in petrol, diesel and kerosene. Following the increment, the petrol will cost Rs 101 per liter whereas the price of diesel and kerosene will be Rs 78 per liter.

However, the price of Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remain unchanged.

The new price will come into effect from Tuesday midnight.

NOC has adopted automatic pricing system to adjust the price of petroleum products according to the international price. NOC Spokesperson Birendra Goit said that they decided to hike the price following the price increment of crude oil in international market.

NOC had increased the price of all petroleum products on December 8, a day after the completion of the second phase of the elections of House of Representatives and Provincial Assemblies.
