I am impatient to hand over helm to new govt: PM Deuba

Sher Bahadur DeuwaChitwan / Dec 26: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the President of Nepali Congress, has said that he is impatient to hand over the helm to a new government.

Inaugurating Chitwan Elephants Festival, which has begun from today at Sauraha in Chitwan, Prime Minister Deuba said, “ I believe that all the unfulfilled works can be completed through the Constitutional process. I am impatient to hand over power to the new government by fulfilling the unfulfilled works through the Constitution.

The current government has been able to peacefully steer the country toward the path of democratic system by ending the long-standing transition, said Deuba.

“Nepali Congress successfully held the elections to bell the country out of the present crisis rising above the partisan interest,” said Deuba.

He further said that Nepali Congress is always committed to establishing peace and prosperity of the Nepali people.
