PM Oli to address the nation on New Year from Rara lake
Kathmandu / Mar 28: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday has announced plans to address the nation from Rara lake in Mugu district of Karnali province on Nepali New Year.
The Prime Minister is set to visit Rara to inaugurate Karnali province’s tourism year 2018/19.
“I will be the first tourist of Karnali province’s tourism year, “PM Oli said, “The drums of tourism will roll from Rara this time.”
Likewise, Prime Minister Oli stressed the need for boosting up country’s economy through political stability and enforcement of the new constitution.
Inaugurating the 7th National General Convention of the General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT), the Prime minister said that the incumbent government has prioritised corruption control, development and prosperity of the country and modernization of agricultural sector.
Remarking that the new constitution represents all levels of the society, he said democracy should evolve and help transform whole lifestyle of the society, and ways of economic and political system.
He also urged all workers across the country to unite for their rights.
On the occasion, PM Oli’s advisor and GEFONT’s President Bishnu Rimal said the organisation was working for the welfare of workers.
A total of 50 workers from various 20 countries have participated in the conference themed “Strengthened democracy and prosperous labour group”.
The conference which will run till March 31 is set to pick a new leadership for the next four years. RSS
