Last rites of NC Leader Khadka held at Aryaghat

Khum BahadurKathmandu / Apr 1: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader and former home minister Khum Bahdur Khadka’s last rites have been performed at Pashupati Aryaghat, Kathmandu on Sunday.

NC Party Chair Sher Bahadur Deuba along with leaders from different parties and well-wishers paid their last tribute to one of the controversial NC leaders at Aryaghat.

Likewise, personnel of Armed Police Force honored former home minister Khadka with a salute before his son Anurag lit the funeral pyre.

Khadka’s body was kept at NC Central Office in Sanepa, Lalitpur today for well wishers to pay their last respect.

Leader Khadka had died while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi of India on Friday evening.
