Home Ministry unveils 82-pt improvement plan

MoHA ReformKathmandu / Apr 02: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has made public 82-point improvement plan for subordinate bodies under the ministry.

Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa made public the improvement plan formulated after identifying ten different sectors amid a special programme organised in the Capital on Monday.

As per the new improvement plan, the Home Ministry will make public the details of expenses over Rs 25,000 in its official website.

Likewise, the Home Ministry also plans to establish at least one police unit in each local levels by mid-July and recall police personnel apart from those who have been deployed to provide security from mid-April.

Similarly, the MoHA will also set up a toll free number to hear the complaints from the public and construct resting place every 100kms in order to minimize accidents along the national highways.
