Snow covers hill stations around the Kathmandu Valley

SnowfallKathmandu / Feb 9: Hill stations around the Kathmandu Valley including Chandragiri, Fulchowki and Shivapuri have witnessed heavy snowfalls on Saturday morning.

The Valley has witnessed dip in minimum temperature following the rainfall since Wednesday night.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DoHM), the rain and snowfall will stop in the western parts of the country from Saturday. The weather will be improved in Kthe capital and the eastern parts from Sunday.

With heavy snowfal, the normal life has been affected in various districts. Telecommunications and public transportation have been affected.
