National Development Council meets for the first time after country entered into federal set-up
Kathmandu / Apr 3: The National Development Council (NDC) is meeting for the first time after the country entered into the federal set-up.
The two-day meeting, which kicked off in the capital today, is expected to give final shape to the concept paper of the 15th five-year plan (fiscal years 2019-20 AD to 2023-24 AD) prepared by the National Planning Commission. The concept paper has incorporated the government’s vision of “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepal”. The NDC meeting will forward the concept paper to the Cabinet for its endorsement.
The meeting will also witness deliberations on the draft of the 25-year development concept paper readied by the commission which has incorporated various policies and strategies in order to achieve economic prosperity in the country.
The program was inaugurated by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at Hotel Soaltee.
