Nepal’s women cricket team leaves for China

Kathmandu / Nov 8: The Under-19 National Women Cricket Team has left for China today to compete in the B&R Cup Cricket Championship.

The championship is taking place in Shanghai, China. Secretary of Cricket Association of Nepal, Ashok Nath Pyakurel, ICC Nepal representative Raunak Malla among other sports officials bid farewell to the Nepal team which comprises 14 players.

The officials wished every success to the team. The championship is taking place from November 11 to 16. National teams from Nepal, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, China, and Myanmar are competing in the championship.

Nepal will play against Thailand in its first match of the championship on November 11. It will play two matches on November 12. It will play against Saudi Arabia in the first match and against China in the second one.

Nepal will take on Malaysia on November 14 and against Myanmar on November 15. Nepal team will play under the captaincy of Dolly Bhatta.
