Ward offices instructed to keep records, monitor overseas returnees and send data to Federal Affairs Ministry

Kathmandu / Mar. 22: All the ward offices of the local levels across the country have been instructed to update records of those who have returned home from abroad and submit updated data on daily basis to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

Issuing a circular in its website to Chief Administrative Officer at the local levels on Sunday, the Ministry asked them to implement decisions related to local levels as made by the high level committee to coordinate for prevention and control of COVID-19 led by DPM and Defence Minister Ishwor Pokhrel.

The local levels have also been asked to ensure that sanitisers, soap and water are arranged at the entrance of their offices for the clients and staff so as to prevent possible coronavirus infection and its spread.
