United Arab Emirates imports fruits from Nepal

Kathmandu / Apr. 30: The United Arab Emirates has imported fruits from Nepal recently.

According to Nepali ambassador to UAE, Krishna Prasad Dhakal, the Gulf nation imported 7 metric tons of watermelon and 1.5 metric tons of papaya from Nepal on April 29.

“The UAE can fulfill the gap between Nepali farmers and market place since there is huge prospect of agricultural cooperation between the two countries”, he added.

He also assured that the Nepal government and Embassy of Nepal will take necessary steps to enhance bilateral trade between the UAE and Nepal in coming days.
