Nepal beat Namibia by two wickets

Kathmandu / Feb. 14: Nepal beat Namibia by two wickets on Tuesday under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Batting first Namibia had set a target of 286 runs which Nepal received in 47.4 overs by losing 8 wickets.

From Nepal’s side, Kushal Bhurtel hit a century and scored 115 runs in 113 balls.

Captain Rohit Paudel scored a half-century scoring 72 runs in 76 balls.

Under the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two, Rohit became the first Nepali player to complete 1000 runs in ODIs after scoring 55 runs against Namibia at the Tribhuvan University International Ground in Kirtipur.

Paudel has played 32 ODI matches for Nepal and with this match today, he has played 33 matches. He has scored 1 century and 6 fifties in ODIs.

Paudel ‘s personal high score in ODIs is 126 runs.
