KMC begins PSC exam preparation classes with 177 participants
Kathmandu / May 19: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has launched public service commission (PSC) examination preparation classes for its residents. Out of 205 applicants, 177 were selected to participate in the classes, which began today.
The KMC is conducting these preparatory classes in collaboration with Chaitanya Academy. Among the participants, 72 are preparing for the posts of non-gazetted first and second-class officials, while 105 are preparing for the examination for the post of section officer. The training sessions will run until August, specifically for permanent residents of the metropolitan city.
Pradeep Pariyar, the chief administrative officer of the KMC, inaugurated the training. He said that intellectual development programs, along with infrastructure and social development initiatives, are crucial for building an orderly society and a prosperous city.
In addition to the preparation classes, the KMC is currently hosting a skill fair in Tundikhel.
