Suggestion Committee formed to enhance ministry’s services submits report to Home Minister Lamichhane
Kathmandu / June 8: The ‘Suggestion Committee formed to enhance the services of agencies under the Ministry of Home Affairs,’ led by former Chief Secretary Leela Mani Paudyal, has submitted its report to the Home Minister.
The committee presented its findings to Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane on Friday.
The report outlines strategies for improving the performance of the ministry and its subordinate agencies, focusing on enhancing the work capacity and moral development of employees, as well as organizational and management improvements.
Additionally, the committee has proposed both immediate and long-term action plans.
Upon receiving the report, Home Minister Lamichhane expressed his gratitude to the task force for their thorough study and analysis. He stated that the report will serve as a foundation for creating a roadmap for home administration reform, which will guide future improvements.
The committee was established in November 2023 with the objective of developing suggestions to make the services of the agencies under the ministry more effective.
