Nepal misses out on SAFF Women’s Championship Title

Kathmandu / Oct 30: Nepal has fallen short of securing the SAFF Women’s Championship title, losing 2-1 to Bangladesh in a hard-fought final held at Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday.

Bangladesh took the lead with a decisive goal in the 81st minute, sealing their victory in this closely contested match. Monika Chakma had earlier given Bangladesh the lead in the 53rd minute, but Nepal quickly responded, with Amisha Karki equalizing just three minutes later.
