Nepal Army reaffirms commitment to constitutional duties

Kathmandu / March 19: Nepal Army (NA) has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to fulfilling its constitutional responsibilities, following increasing comments and discussions on social media regarding its role. On Wednesday, the NA Headquarters issued a press release emphasising its dedication to the nation’s sovereignty and national unity.

NA stressed its unflinching dedication to safeguarding the nation’s independence, territorial integrity, and upholding its constitutional duties. “The Nepal Army is always committed to fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to it by the Constitution to safeguard Nepal’s freedom, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national unity,” the release stated.

The statement refers to the frequent remarks and opinions circulating in various media outlets and social media platforms related to the Nepal Army.

NA requested the public to contact its Directorate of Public Relations and Information for accurate and factual information regarding the Army’s actions.
