Joshi re-appointed CEO of Tourism Board

Kathmandu / Sept 5: The government has appointed Deepak Raj Joshi as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Tourism Board.

Joshi was appointed as the CEO for a four-year term by the meeting of the NTB Board of Directors today, according to Senior Director and Spokesperson of the Board Nandini Lahe Thapa.

This is the second time that Joshi has been appointed to lead the Board. He had served as the CEO of the Board from 2015 to 2020.

Former CEO of the Board, Dhananjaya Regmi and Gyaneshwar Singh Mahato had also been shortlisted for the position as recommendation by the Section Committee.

Talking in brief to RSS following his appointed, CEO Joshi said it’s both a challenge and inspiration for him to exhibit results in the midst of adverse conditions, laxity of resources and expectations of the tourism sector. RSS
