Ncell receives ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications for information security and data privacy
Kathmandu / Jan 8: Ncell has received the ISO 27001:2022 (ISMS) and ISO 27701:2019 (PIMS) certifications, reflecting the company’s commitment to safeguarding customer information.
The scope of these certifications includes Ncell’s Data Centre, Customer Service, and IT Services, further ensuring reliability and protection. According to the company, this step will help solidify its position as a leader in data security and privacy, setting new standards for customer trust.
With this milestone, Ncell has become the first telecom company in Nepal to be certified in both Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Privacy Information Management System (PIMS). The certifications help reflect Ncell’s transparency and accountability, assuring that customer trust remains at the core of its operations, Ncell said in a statement.
