President award to three farmers
Myagdi / November 9: The Outstanding President Award has been conferred on three farmers of Myagdi on Sunday.
The District Agriculture Development Office gave away the award carrying a purse of Rs 10,000 each to the three best performing farmers of Myagdi district on the occasion of 35th Food Day.
The awardees towards commercial vegetable farming are Rudra Bahadur Thapa of Beni municipality-1, Anandabagar and Ram Chandra Baruwal of Dhar-5. Likewise, Dhan Bahadur Shrish of Bhakimli-6, Dandakhani received the award towards goat farming.
Chief District Officer Sagarmani Pathak, Local Development Officer Chiranjibi Poudel and senior agriculture development officer Shyam Prasad Rijal jointly gave away the cash prize and letter of appreciation to the best performers. RSS
