Over Rs 50 million for quake-hit school building maintenance

Laprak-gorkhaDamauli / March 11: Over Rs 53.8 million has been distributed to earthquake-affected community schools of Tanahun under the School Physical Reforms Programme.

The Tanahun District Education Office shared that the amount was granted on th headings of maintenance of the earthquake-affected school buildings, girls toilets and drinking water arrangements.

Office Sub-Engineer Shambhu Poudel said the grant was provided under the school physical programme.

Addressing an orientation programme organized by Tanahun District Education Office in Damauli on Thursday, District Education Officer Top Bahadur Shrestha urged all schools to utilize the resources in line with the target and objective.

As many as 200 participants including chairpersons and headmasters of primary level schools of the district took part at the programme. RSS
