Five integrated settlements proposed in quake-hit Rasuwa

Laprak-gorkhaRasuwa / March 15: Integrated settlements have been proposed in different five sites in Rasuwa district to rehabilitate the people displaced from the ‘Gorkha Earthquake’.

Chief District Officer and chief of the District Natural Disaster Rescue Committee, Krishna Prasad Adhikari, said that Naubise and Bogatitar of Laharepauwa VDC, Parchyang and Patikharka of Saramthali VDC and Lamachet of Bhorle VDC have been proposed for the provision of the integrated settlements.

Likewise, recommendation has been made to set up centres in four different places for the distribution of reliefs to be doled out from the government for the reconstruction jobs.

The branch of Himalayan Bank in Betrabati would provide relief amount for the folks of Laharepauwa, Dandagaun, Thulogaun and Saramthali while ICFC Finance Limited situated in Kalikasthan would give the amount to the residents of Bhorle, Dhaibung and Yarsha VDCs as per the recommendation.

Likewise, Dhunche-based banks would give the relief amount to the people of Dhunche, Haku, Ramche and Langtang while Mega Bank in Syaphrubensi would provide the relief amount received from the government to the quake-affected people from Syaphru, Goljung, Chilime and Gatlyang, said member-secretary of committee Bishnu Prasad Koirala.
